Soup was out of a litter that
basically planned itself. But they say sometimes the best things
you produce are unexpected. I think Soup fits in that category.
Soup is out of our Sugar and
George. Since Sugar is owned by Mackenzie, he is Mackenzie's
puppy. She named Soup for the rock band Bowling for Soup. Not
many people know the band and think that Soup is named for
the food. We have great fun with Mackenzie and all the nicknames
that we can do with Soup. The favorite being "Souperman".
Currently Soup is showing in
conformation with Mackenzie. She wanted to show him in bred
by since she is so proud of her first litter from her girl.
At 6 months old, Soup has already picked up 4 reserves to majors
and 9 points with 2 majors in ASCA. Mackenzie is beyond proud.
Soup quickly finished and is now showing as a special in ASCA,
and working on his AKC Championship. He is a multiple Best
of Breed winner in ASCA and currently in the top 20 standings.
Soup is a wonderful addition
to our family. He is very outgoing and loves to play. He plays
a daily game of tug of war with his daddy George in the kitchen.
He settles nicely and loves to cuddle. He is the perfect combination
of both parents.
As Soup grows up he will be come
Mackenzie's next jr handling dog. So make sure you watch them
in the ring and cheer them on.
Mackenzie easily finished Soup
and this puppy became her first bred by champion. She is now
training him as a jr dog and showing him in the special's ring.
He has already done very well.
The slogan out now is perfect
for this puppy:
"It is Amazing what Soup can do!"
